Marine Paints were used on this Hotel in the Fall of 1915, making the third painting with the same product in the history of the Hotel. The Hotel had changed ownership but the owners stuck to the old paint because the old paint had stuck to the Hotel. / The Billings-Chapin Co., Makers of Finest Paints and Varnishes / Boston - Cleveland - New York / The Hotel was re-painted in the Spring of 1919, one coat with the same paint and color scheme. Fine results.
